I love photography, and I really want a 'fancy' camera so I could do more stuff with it. Most of my deviations are pictures of cosplay, but I'm working on some original art pieces. I hope to get into drawing again... something I haven't done much since I've joined DA.

Well as many of my friends know, I've spent these first few days of January getting thoroughly obsessed with the band Steam Powered Giraffe.
Honestly, I love this band so much- Them as people, their characters, their makeup, and their music- which are all things that I look for in bands and rarely find.
Anyway, I told my friends I would send them some links to videos and quite a few of them wanted links so I decided to write a journal instead so maybe some other people could listen if they feel like it. I have a feeling this journal will turn into a ridiculously long report-bear with me, I'm far too obsessed.

So, I haven't really posted anything new on deviantart in forever. I was just looking at some of my old pictures of cosplay and wow they weren't the bestest things ever.
My standard for what I think of as good cosplay has changed considerably.
Why is cosplaying such a damn expensive time consuming hobby?

Looks like I have some choices to make, I'm not totally sure who I want to be.
Friday(Day 0)
Probably going to be Nezumi (No. 6), although I'm not really sure what is happening.
Saturday(Day 1)
I'm either going to be Mako(Legend of Korra) or Lost Boys(Peter Pan) although lost boys is kinda iffy as some people have bailed.
Sunday(Day 2)
Definitely going to be Emily(Corpse Bride) and I'm gonna join the Cosplay contest, which hopefully will turn out loads better than last year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0sULuNuRBM , as i joined on a whim. I've got some exciting plans for this cosplay and I'm really excited! If all turns out as planned
